TRANQUILITY...GRK, GUJRATH...!!

This place in Greater Rann of Kutch is a swamp...and home for many birds...Early morning the only sound I could hear was the chirping of birds. A layer of fog was lifting from the surface of water and a lovely hue of the Sunrise was evident on the East horizon...It was a stunning Sunrise & my day for made.

Kijadia bird park at Jamnagar, Gujrath is a wonderful place for waders. Wast wet land is home for many species of birds.

LAYER BY LAYER....WESTERN GHATS...!!

Early morning twilight just before Sunrise is a good opportunity to get the character of these misty mountains. Its also tricky to get the exposure right due to low intensity of light.. A huge wallpaper of such Landscapes is a treat.

DAY BEGINS AT A SWAMP...!!

This picture was taken en-route to Naliya Grasslands. I set out before Sunrise and was there at this beautiful Swamp which was habitat for lot of waders. The early morning chill and the layer of Fog on the water did add to the serenity of the place. Of-course the Sunrise was spectacular. I did take some good landscapes.

She had a captivating beautiful brown eyes...she chose to shield it from the intense rays of the setting Sun.

This was the early morning shot at Jamnagar, Gujrath, When I went to photograph few wader. I did still manage to get the picture of the waders. But my eye caught these two women walking on the railway bride precariously to reach their destination.

CYCLE RIDE AT RANN OF KUTCH...GUJRATH....!!!

Being at the great plain of the Little Rann Of Kutch early morning, much before Sunrise is mesmerrising ....The vast plains and endless horizon make you feel incredibly small. The chill in the air, the layer of mist and the earthly colors make it surreal...Here is a picture take on one such morning of a Bi-cycle rider treading his path on the vast expanse of Rann.

FIERY RED SUNSET ON THE SLOPES OF KEERO VOLCANO...GRK...GUJRATH.!!

This is the true color on one of the evenings during Sunset....taken with the backdrop slope of an extinct Volcano named Keero...You can still see the dried ashes and Fossils around it...confirming it to be a part of Ocean floor few million years ago...Its absolute crazy place with spooky silence...!!

MILLION DOLLAR SMILE....!!!

Just look how happy this kid is....They live in the middle of the Kutch desert...far away from the city lifestyle and with very minimal facilities...Its a tough conditions out there....They extract Salt from the Dried out terrain.

The Vast expanse of land devoid of any vegetation is mesmerizing....You tend to loose your sense of direction, especially if you are new. This picture shows a native riding his cycle, obvious of the direction he has to reach, braving the early morning cold just before the Sunrise..It was just beautiful.

YALA SCAPE...THE YALA ROCK, SRILANKA....!!!

This place in Yala, Srilanka has surreal effect...It looks different in different lighting conditions...This is a picture taken on a slightly overcast sky..but, light filtering thro to hi-lite the rock...Its a perfect hideout for leopards.
